What We Handle

Water. Fire. Storm.
We Rebuild All of It.

Insurance restoration is the majority of our work — not a sideline. We've seen every damage scenario Utah weather can produce, and we know how to get your home back to pre-loss condition or better.

01
Water Damage

The most common claim we see — burst pipes, appliance leaks, flooding. Once your mitigation team is done extracting and drying, we take over and rebuild everything back to pre-loss condition or better.

What We Rebuild
02
Fire Damage

Fire damage is complex — smoke, soot, structural compromise, and odor all have to be addressed before rebuilding begins. We assess scope, coordinate with your adjuster, and manage the full reconstruction from studs to finishes.

What We Rebuild
03
Storm Damage

Hail, wind, heavy snow — Utah storms can cause serious structural damage. We handle roof-related interior damage, siding, windows, and full interior rebuilds when storms push water inside.

What We Rebuild
How It Works

From Assessment
to Move-In Day

01
Free Claim Assessment

We come out, walk the damage, and give you a clear picture of what the full reconstruction involves. No charge, no pressure, no obligation. We just want you to have the information you need.

02
Adjuster Coordination

We communicate directly with your insurance adjuster. We submit all documentation, scope-of-work details, and cost estimates so you don't have to fight for what you're owed. Most clients find this alone is worth everything.

03
Reconstruction & Build

Once the scope is approved, our crew gets to work. Framing, drywall, flooring, paint, cabinetry — the full rebuild under one roof, one contract, one point of contact.

04
Final Walk-Through & Move-In

We walk every detail together. When you're satisfied, you're done. Most families are back home within 19–22 days of us starting work.

One Call. One Contractor. One Point of Contact.

You've already been through enough. The last thing you need is managing four different contractors, chasing your adjuster, and wondering who's responsible for what. That's our job now.

Why Summit

Why Homeowners Trust Summit
With Their Insurance Rebuild

01
We Work With Your Adjuster, Not Against Them

We've done hundreds of insurance claims. We know how to document damage, submit scope, and communicate with adjusters in a way that protects you and gets claims approved faster. When the initial estimate falls short, we know how to supplement it.

02
No Subcontractor Carousel

We don't farm your job out to a dozen subs. Our crews handle the work. You have one number to call and one person responsible for the outcome — not a rotating cast of contractors who've never met each other.

03
We're Fast Without Cutting Corners

We know being out of your home is stressful and expensive. We move fast — but never at the expense of quality. The goal is getting you back home in fewer than 22 days, and we hit that target consistently. Staying in a hotel isn't something you should do longer than you have to.

Our basement flooded and we had no idea where to start. Summit Buildworks came out the same day, walked us through everything, handled all the back-and-forth with our insurance company, and had us back in our home in under three weeks. I honestly cannot recommend them enough.

Common Questions

Common Questions About
Insurance Restoration

No — we specialize in full reconstruction after mitigation is complete. If you still need a mitigation company, we're happy to refer you to trusted partners we've worked with for years. Once they're done, we take over and rebuild everything back to pre-loss condition.
You can call us first — we'll help you understand the damage and what to expect before you file a claim. Filing doesn't always make sense for every situation, and we'll give you an honest assessment either way. We have no incentive to push you toward filing if it's not in your best interest.
You have the right to choose your own contractor in Utah. You are never required to use the insurer's preferred vendor. We work with all major insurance carriers and have established relationships with adjusters across the state.
This is where we earn our value. We submit detailed scope and cost documentation using industry-standard estimating tools, and we know how to get claims supplemented when the initial estimate doesn't cover the full scope of work. We've done this hundreds of times.
Typically within 1–3 business days of receiving the approved scope from your adjuster. In many cases we start scoping and finalizing selections while mitigation is still wrapping up, so we're ready to mobilize the moment the structure is dry.
Yes. No catch. We come out, assess the damage, walk you through what reconstruction involves, and give you a real picture of the timeline and process. Whether you hire us or not. We've built our business on referrals, not high-pressure sales tactics.
